Sandra L. Hast, 64, of Sharpsville, passed away Monday evening, July 11, 2022, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Mrs. Hast was born November 10, 1957, in Greenville, PA, a daughter of the late Donald and Gloria (Greggs) Black. She was a 1975 graduate of Reynolds High School.

For more than 30 years, Sandra worked as an orthodontic assistant for Dr. Mary Ann Palitti in Hermitage.

Sandra was an active member of the Hickory United Methodist Church, Hermitage, where she enjoyed volunteering and attending bible study groups.

She enjoyed gardening, and most of all, Sandra loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, David Hast, whom she married on August 23, 1974; a son, David Hast and his wife Amber, Sharpsville; two granddaughters, Brianna and Alexis Hast; three sisters, Connie Slater and her husband Jack, Brenda Walters, and Linda Perry and her companion Bob Torok; and one brother, Donald Black.

The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to Hickory United Methodist Church, 240 N. Hermitage Rd., Hermitage, PA 16148.

A memorial service will be at 9 a.m. Friday (07/15/2022) in the Hickory United Methodist Church, with Rev. David Coul, pastor, officiating. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
