Samuel Rowe of Hermitage passed away at 2:28 p.m. Tuesday, December 20, 2016, in Hospitality Care Center. He was 73.
Mr. Rowe was born December 9, 1943, in Sharon, a son of George and Gladys Brenneman Rowe.
He was a 1961 graduate of Hickory High School. Sam then relocated to Florida where he was employed by Gray Line
Bus Tours, and worked as both a driver and a mechanic. He admired John Deere Tractors, and often wore a John Deere hat. Sam also enjoyed collecting coins.
Upon his return home to the Shenango Valley, Sam married his wife, the former Bonnie Pryce on September 15, 2004. She survives at home.
Also surviving are: a step-daughter, Susan McGirr and her husband, Jonathan, Greenville; two step-sons, Robert Stoner and his wife Teresa, Sharpsville; and Richard Stoner and his wife Donna, Greenville; a sister, Georgia Hinkson, Hermitage; two brothers, Willard Rowe and his wife Debra, Masury, OH; and Charles Rowe and his wife Sandra; Hermitage; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Sam was preceded in death by two sisters, Frances Rowe; and Norma Miller; and a brother, James Rowe.
A memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
