Sally A. Cummins, 81, of New Castle passed away the afternoon of Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at Jameson Hospital.

Mrs. Cummins was born in New Castle on April 28, 1934, a daughter of the late Clark and Margaret Shoop McCurdy.

She was a 1952 graduate of Shannock Valley High School.

Sally married Clyde E. Cummins on May 6, 1955, and he preceded her in death on June 30, 1990.

Sally spent most of her life as a loving and devoted homemaker to her husband and children.

She retired from the Family Craft Center in New Castle.

Mrs. Cummins was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.

She is survived by three daughters, Terri Cummins, Joni Cummins and Julie Colatruglio and her husband, Pasquale, all of New Castle; a sister, Marian Badger and her husband, Ronald, of New Castle; a brother, Clark McCurdy of Alexandria, Virginia; two grandsons, Michael (Bekah) Colatruglio of Mechanicsville, Maryland, and David (Rachel) Colatruglio of Poland, Ohio; and two great-granddaughters, Liberty and Evangeline Colatruglio.

Preceding her in death, besides her parents and husband, were son, Jeffery Cummins; and her companion, Don Leeper.

Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 111 W. Falls St.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. David Snyder, pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church, officiating.

Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery.
