Sally Ann (Shannon) Boyer, of Lake Wales, FL, passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Advent Health, Lake Wales.

Mrs. Boyer was born March 27, 1942, in New Castle, PA a daughter of the late Paul and Martha Shannon, and moved to Lake Wales from New Castle in 1983.

Sally was an administrative secretary for Lake Wales Hospital for 27 years. An active member of High Point Church, she also loved to sew and cook.

In addition to her parents, Sally was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Shannon.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Boyer; a daughter, Bonnie Daugherty (Mark); four sons, Robert William Boyer, Ronald Paul Boyer (Maria), Mark Alan Boyer (Angela), and Timothy Boyer; two sisters, Alice Kellogg and Barbara Shannon; six brothers, Jim Shannon (Hazel), John Shannon (Rosemary), Walter Shannon, Dale Shannon (Trish), Leslie Shannon, and Calvin Shannon; seven grandchildren, Bradley, Brittany, Jennifer, Stephanie, Daemon, Tara, and Tori; and four great-grandchildren.

A celebration of Sally's life will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday (7-14-24) at the Union Twp. Vol. Fire Hall, 304 South Scotland Lane, New Castle, PA 16101.
