Ruth A. Rock, 86, formerly of Hubbard, Ohio, passed away 4:49 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2018, in St. John XXIII Home, Hermitage.

Mrs. Rock was born May 7, 1932, in Sebring, Ohio, a daughter of Clarence M. and Trude Mildred (Hahn) Wilson.  She attended McKinley High School in Sebring.

Ruth was a homemaker and worked for several years in the housekeeping department of Sharon Regional Medical Center. She was also employed for a short time at the former Howell Industries, Masury.

Ruth was a member of the Church of Notre Dame, Hermitage.  She was an accomplished seamstress and volunteered at the Little Dresses for Haiti program.

Her husband, Joseph R. Rock, whom she married in 1986, passed away October 6, 2011.

She is survived by two daughters, Richell Ricciardi and her husband Keith, Hermitage; and Roxanne Santell, Austintown, Ohio; one son, Richard Santell, West Middlesex; two step-daughters, Denise MacMillan and her husband Kenneth, Lewis Center, Ohio; and Diane Morris and her husband Steve, Phoenix, Arizona.  She also leaves behind eight grandchildren; Tera Ricciardi and her partner Michael Arredondo; Keith Ricciardi II and his wife Devon; Alex Santell and his fiancé Julia; Karly Fustos and her husband Billy; Ricky Santell; Meghan and Kenny McMillan; and Jessica Phibbs; and four great grandchildren, Dominic, Sophia and Giuliani Ricciardi; and Roslyn Fustos.

In addition to her husband, Ruth is preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Lois O'Donnell; and two brothers, Russell Fryfogle and Dale "Franklin" Wilson

Ruth's family would like to thank the staff of Sharon Regional Health System Hospice for their wonderful care and attention.

Mass of Christian burial will be 12:30 p.m. Saturday in the Church, with the Very Rev. Richard Allen, E.V., pastor, as celebrant.
