Mass of Christian burial is Monday for Ruth Elizabeth Lesosky of Hermitage, who passed away peacefully at 2:45 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, 2015, in her home, surrounded by her loved ones. She was 96. Mrs. Lesosky was born on Armistice Day, Nov. 11, 1918, in Leechburg, Pa., a daughter of Charles and Sara (Kalp) Buckley. She was a 1936 graduate of McKinley High School, Niles, Ohio, and resided in Key West, Fla., during the 1940s. Ruth retired in 1978 as a nurse's aide from the former Mercer County Home and then continued to care for people in their homes for several years. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima-St. Ann Church, Farrell. Ruth was a resident of Sharpsville for many years and a former member of the Sharpsville Woman's Club. Ruth was a "sweetheart" of a person who loved spending time with her family. In earlier years, she enjoyed swimming, fishing, living in Florida and taking trips to Canada. Her husband, Joseph Lesosky, whom she married May 2, 1953, passed away Jan. 1, 1969. Ruth will be missed dearly by her family, who include a daughter, Joyce Baldarelli and her husband Levio, Jr., with whom she made her home for the past 20 years; a grandson, Levio Baldarelli III, Hermitage; two granddaughters, Lauren and Elise Baldarelli, both Cleveland Heights, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Rogers; three sisters, Josephine Evans, Dorothy Dunham and Martha Warner; and a brother, Charles "Buck" Buckley.
