Rudolph "Rudy" Koch, 87, of Sharon, passed away Sunday evening, November 5, 2023, in Edison Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, New Castle.

Mr. Koch was born on February 19, 1936, in Sharon, a son of the late Frank and Margaret (Schwartz) Koch. He was a 1953 graduate of West Middlesex High School and served in the U.S. Army Reserves.

He was employed at the General Motors Lordstown Plant, retiring with 30 years of service. This led to his passion for vehicles and his passion for restoring cars.

An avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting and fishing.

Rudy was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, West Middlesex. He was also a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Lodge 103, Sharon.

He is survived by his wife, the former Nancy White, whom he married on October 25, 1958; a daughter, Lisa Kimpan, Greenville; a son, Mark Koch, Mercer; three grandchildren, Abbegail Koch, Paige Boot and Amelia Gilliland; one great-granddaughter, Lydia Kaufman; and a brother, Frank Koch and his wife Jeanne, Sharon.

In addition to his parents, Rudy was preceded in death by a son, Keith Koch.

The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to the Church of the Good Shepherd, 3613 Sharon Rd., West Middlesex, PA 16159.
