Obituary
Ruby M. Clarke of Farrell passed away at 11:25 a.m. Monday, July 18, 2017, in her home. She was 88.
Ruby was born March 3, 1929, in Brooklyn, NY, a daughter of Isaac and Olive (Gibson) Clarke and attended Brooklyn Area Schools.
Ruby moved to Farrell in 1972, then to Michigan in 1999 and recently returned to Farrell. Ruby worked at various places in the healthcare field. She worked several years as a nurse's assistant at Brooklyn Veterans Hospital and later had her own home health care at 305 Fruit Ave., Farrell.
Ruby was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Hermitage. She was a devoted and multitalented woman. She enjoyed sewing and was a great seamstress and cook. She received great joy from taking care of people and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter, Regina Dallas and her husband Jeffrey, Hermitage; six grandchildren, Sherry Clarke, Sharon Clarke, Sheila Villanueva, Shonda Ponsford, Shannon Clarke and Terry Wilder; ten great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers, George, Isaac and Prince Clarke. There are no calling hours.
Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Sunday (07/23/2017) at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2885 Hann Hill Rd., Hermitage.
