Rosemary M. Moses, 719 Hasenflu Drive, Hermitage, passed away at 5:05 p.m. on Thursday (10-16-08) in Akron General Medical Center after an extended illness. She was 70.
A lifelong area resident, Mrs. Moses was born on Sunday, Feb. 20, 1938, in Sharon, a daughter of Angelo and Margaret Rotunno Sanata.
She graduated from Sharon High School in 1957.
In her earlier years, Mrs. Moses was employed by the former Sharon Transformer Division of Westinghouse Electric Corp. and had also worked for Hermitage School District.
A homemaker, she was a member of the Church of Notre Dame, Hermitage.
Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially attending her two sons' sports activities as they grew, and recently, spending time with her four grandchildren.
Her husband, David E. Moses, whom she married on June 27, 1959, survives at the residence.
She also leaves: two sons, Dr. Douglas E. Moses and his wife Denise, Tallmadge, Ohio; and Daniel J. Moses and his wife Tina, Hartsville, S.C.; a sister, Marie Testani, Hermitage; five brothers, Albert Sanata and his wife Ellen, Brookfield; Charles Sanata and his wife Hazel, Hermitage; Harry Sanata, Hubbard; Lawrence Santa and his wife Marge, Pymatuning Township; and William Sanata, Pueblo, Colo.; and her four grandchildren, Olivia, Lauren, Morgan and Braden.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Moses was preceded in death by a sister, Victoria Donak; four brothers, James, Peter and Joseph Peluso; and Anthony Sanata; and her daughter-in-law, Barbara Moses.
