Rosemary A. Farmakis, 88, of Hermitage, formerly of Hartford, OH, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026, in her home.

Ms. Farmakis was born on May 2, 1937, in Sharpsville, PA, a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Scanlon) Good. She was a 1955 graduate of Sharpsville High School.

She spent her career as a photographic retoucher, most notably working at the former Rembrandt Studio, Sharon.

Rosemary was a member of the former Sacred Heart Church, Sharon.

She cherished her role as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, and her home was always a place of warmth, love, and open to family and friends. Her gentle spirit, generosity, and deep love for those around her will be remembered always.

Her first husband, Robert J. Horodyski, whom she married on May 4, 1957, passed away on April 24, 1988. On June 19, 1994, she married James Farmakis, who passed away on February 12, 2018.

She is survived by a daughter, Linda S. Hahn (Gregory), of North Canton, OH; two sons, John M. Horodyski, of Morrison, CO; and Robert M. Horodyski (Marybeth), of Gainsville, FL; seven grandchildren, Nicole Scott (Casey), Sarah Breen (Lucas), Robert M. Horodyski II (Laura Ann), Ashley Huser (Zach), Emily Meyer (Cody), Kristen Horodyski, and Jonathan Horodyski (Erin); and four great grandchildren, Zane James Huser, Robert M. Horodyski III, Juliet Rosemary Breen and Wesley Hahn Meyer. Also surviving are two sisters, Dorothy Campagna (Rocco), of Wilmington, NC; and Marilyn Murray, of Biloxi, MS; four brothers, John Good (Patricia), of Hermitage; Jim Good (Ted), of Hilo, HI; Robert Good, of Rochester, NY, and Michal Good (Claudia), of Orlando, FL.

In addition to her parents and husbands, Rosemary was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Grassley; and two brothers, Mathew and Paul Good.

Funeral service will immediately follow at 7 p.m. Wednesday, in the funeral home with Rev. Glenn Whitman, officiating.

Interment: St. Rose Cemetery, Hermitage.
