Obituary

Rosemary Dougherty, Hermitage, passed away peacefully Sunday evening (6-10-12) in the Intensive Care Unit of Sharon Regional Health System after a brief illness. She was 71.
Rosemary was born August 25, 1940 in Farrell, the daughter of Frank and Mary Grande Mindicino.
A lifelong area resident, she was a member of Farrell High School's graduating class of 1958.
She matriculated to Sharon General Hospital's School of Nursing and graduated in 1961 as a Registered Nurse.
Mrs. Dougherty retired from Sharon Regional's behavioral unit, Kerrwood Dr., Hermitage, and she previously worked in both of the hospitals surgical unit, and 3rd back where she was in charge of utilization review.
She was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Fatima-St. Ann's Church, Farrell.
Her husband Eugene H. Dougherty, whom she married in Our Lady of Fatima Church on September 28, 1963, survives at home.
She is also survived by her two sons, Eugene A. Dougherty, Akron, Ohio, and Mark J. Dougherty and his wife Siobhan (Callis) and their two children, Makenna Rose, and Braden Patrick Dougherty, all of Dunbarton, NH.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Henry, Charles, and Anthony Mindicino, and two sisters, Angelina Testa, and Phyllis Tanneri.
Memorial Contribution may be made in her memory to the Diabetes Center by contributing to the Sharon Regional Health Foundation 740 E. State St. Sharon, Pa., 16146

Services: Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday (6-15-12) at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima-St. Ann's Church, 601 Roemer Blvd., Farrell, with Rev. Donald E. Berdis, pastor as the celebrant. A brief prayer service will take place in the funeral home at 9:45 a.m. prior to leaving for the church.
Interment: St. Anthony's Cemetery, Hermitage.
