Obituary
Roseann R. Kocsis of Hermitage passed away at 5:28 p.m. Sunday, July 31, 2016, in her residence. She was 87.
Mrs. Kocsis was a daughter of Joseph J. and Mary Goda Veselosky.
She attended the former St. Ann's School - parochial grade school - Farrell, and was a 1948 graduate of Farrell High School.
Roseann was a member of Church of Notre Dame, Hermitage.
Earlier in her life, she was employed by WNY Hospital TV Service, Farrell.
Her husband, Eugene J. Kocsis, whom she married Feb. 14, 1953, in the former St. Ann's Church, passed away Nov. 5, 2012.
Surviving are: two daughters, Lisa S. Janosko and her husband John "Jack", Transfer; and Beth K. Mongell and her husband Mitch, Destin, Fla.; a son, Richard E. Kocsis and his wife Diane, Jackson, N.J.; a nephew, Jim Kocsis, Erie; a niece, Theresa "Tessie" Harkulich, Hermitage; five grandchildren, Allyson Knott and her husband Fred; Elane and Lesley Janosko; and Nick and Chris Mongell; three great-grandchildren, Mason and twins Abby and Chelsea Knott; and three stepgrandchildren, Peter, Jessica and Rachael Hickman.
In addition to her husband, Roseann was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Frances Stiftinger; and a brother, Joseph Veselosky.
The family would like to thank Father Jeff and Father Berdis for their spiritual guidance. Thank you Dr. Vallabh for your kindness and gentleness with our mother.
