Rose Marie Swartz of Stone Ridge Boulevard, formerly of North Darby Road, both Hermitage, passed away under hospice care at 3:22 a.m. Saturday (2-20-16) in her residence. She was 85.

Mrs. Swartz was born Feb. 1, 1931, in Sharon, a daughter of Luigi and Rose Frank Revale.

She was raised in Sharon and was a graduate of Sharon High School.

A homemaker, she was a member of Church of the Sacred Heart, Sharon.

Rose loved being a mother and was dedicated to taking care of her special needs son, Harry.

She enjoyed Daffin's Candies, feeding the squirrels and watching sports.

Her husband, Harry W. Swartz Sr., whom she married Nov. 13, 1954, passed away Jan. 15, 2011.

Surviving are: three sons: Harry William Swartz Jr., at home; Louis Michael Swartz and his wife Mary, Hermitage; and Paul John Swartz and his wife April, Las Vegas, Nev.; two grandchildren, whom she adored, Lucca Christian Swartz and Katie Williams; three sisters, Marcia Gibbons and her husband Thomas, Jefferson Township; Elizabeth Garrick, Geneva, Ohio; and Angeline Megyesi, Sharon; a brother, Simon Revale and his wife Toni, Sharon; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, Rose was preceded in death by: her parents; two brothers, Leonard and Louis Revale; and a sister, Catherine Heath.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Church of the Sacred Heart, 40 S. Irvine Ave., Sharon, PA 16146; or Sharon Regional Hospice and Palliative Care, 1955 Shenango Valley Freeway, Sharon, PA 16146.

Funeral: 1 p.m. Thursday (2-25-16) in the funeral home wit the Rev. Henry Andrae, pastor of Church of the Sacred Heart, Sharon, officiating.

Burial: St. Mary's Cemetery, Hermitage.
