Rose Marie Jazwinski, 24 Hermitage Hills Blvd., Hermitage, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes at 9:39 a.m. Saturday (5-14-11) in the intensive care unit of the Sharon Regional Health System. She was 81.
Mrs. Jazwinski was born January 2, 1930 in Sharon, a daughter of the late Ross G. and Mary N. Rotunno Bonacci.
She was a 1948 alumna of Youngstown (Ohio) East High School.
Rose began her career as a nurse's aid at Youngstown (Ohio) Northside Hospital and later worked at the former Rotunno's Grocery Store in Sharon's north flats assisting her uncles, Peter and Harry Rotunno. She then became employed by the Sharon City School District as a secretary at Wengler, Musser and Gamble Elementary Schools; the guidance office at Sharon High School; and Case Ave. Elementary School, from which she retired. The final years of Rose's life were defined by her commitment and unconditional love to her family; her dedication to her son's business, JFS Wealth Advisors, Hermitage; and her duty and obligation to God through her volunteer service at Notre Dame Church, Hermitage, were she was an active member.
Her husband, Robert C. Jazwinski, Sr., whom she married April 24, 1954 in Church of the Sacred Heart, Sharon, passed away February 6, 1968.
Surviving are: three children, Robert C. Jazwinski and his wife Sally, Hermitage; Ann J. Hennessy, Pittsburgh; and Gene L. Jazwinski, Esq. and his wife Yvonne, Pittsburgh; eight grandchildren, Alison B. Jazwinski, MD, Durham, N.C.; Sarah J. Amey, CFP and her husband Clint, Pittsburgh; Jennifer S. Jazwinski, Arlington, VA; Gene L. Jazwinski, Jr. and his wife Jenna, Myrtle Beach, S.C.; Robert J. Jazwinski, Carlisle, PA; Jessica Jazwinski and her companion Claude Bailey, Pittsburgh; Lee Hennessy and his companion Courtney Clifford, Pittsburgh; and Brenna Hennessy, Pittsburgh; and five great grandchildren, Owen Parker Amey, Eli Daniel Amey, Kendall Bailey and Connor Hennessy, all Pittsburgh; and Juliet Jazwinski, Myrtle Beach, S.C. She also leaves four step-brothers, Donald Ricciardi, Hermitage; Joseph Ricciardi and his wife Bernice, also Hermitage; John Ricciardi and his wife Judy, Port Orchard, WA; and Ralph Ricciardi, Jr. and his wife June, Masury, OH; and a step sister-in-la!

Besides her parents and husband, Rose was preceded in death by her step-mother, Mary Bonacci; her step-father, Ralph Ricciardi, Sr.; and a step-brother, Michael Ricciardi.

Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday (5-18-11) in the Church of Notre Dame, Hermitage, with the Rev. Jeffery J. Noble, pastor, as celebrant. Everyone is asked to go directly to the church.
