Obituary

Calling hours and services will take place Thursday (3-8-12) for Rose Feigert, 494 Daugherty Ave., Sharon, who passed away peacefully at 7:03 p.m. on Friday (3-2-12) in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System following an extended illness. She was 91.

She was born February 2, 1921 in Youngstown, OH, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Lysyk Sawaska.

She attended Hubbard Schools.

Rose worked for 32 ½ years at the former Sharon Transformer division of the Westinghouse Electric Corporation as a material handler, she retired in 1979.

In her earlier years she belonged to the the American Carpatho-Russian Citizens & Social Club, Sharon, and the YMCA, Hermitage.

Her husband Charles W. Feigert whom she married on September 16, 1950, passed away November 9, 1983.

She leaves her friend, companion, and caregiver Richard Klingensmith, Sharon, his step daughter, Elsie Volker, Illinois, and several step grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Steve, Nick, Alex, William and Mike, and by a stepdaughter Nancy Holzapfel, and a step son, Charles W. Feigert III.

Calling hours: 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday (3-8-12) in the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. 1090 E. State St. Sharon.
