Obituary

Rose Marie Antonino, 2055 Madison Street, Hermitage, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes at 2:00 a.m. Friday (10-28-11) at her residence. She was77.

Rose was born July 10, 1934 in Sharon the daughter of George Henry and Elizabeth Schumacher Fabrey. A lifelong area resident. She was a graduate of Sharon High School.

Rose retired in 2007 from Wal-Mart's Hermitage store where she worked as a Store greeter and as a baker in their bakery. Prior to her working at Wal-Mart, she was employed as a baker at Shop & Save, Hermitage, and Ideal Bakery, Farrell. She was also a familiar face at various Shenango Valley restaurants where she worked as a waitress for many years.

To her family, however, Rose was a compassionate and loving mother and grandmother.

She was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka-Holy Trinity Church, Sharon, and was intensely faithful to the Lord.

Her husband, John Antonino, whom she married February 6, 1960, passed away July 9, 2007.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who loved her family. She worked hard her entire life to insure everyone had what they needed; she put her family's needs before her own.

She is survived by two daughters, Karen Rodgers and her husband Kenneth, Hermitage and Gina Antonino, Masury; a son, Mark D. Antonino, at home; four sisters, Ann M. Fruit, British Columbia, Frances Capson, Florida, Eva Buzzeo and her husband Michael, Hermitage and Betty Lou Bochert, Florida; six grandchildren, Ryan Dunch, Kenny, Amanda, Mary and Melissa Rodgers, and Morgan Antonino; one great grandson, Caisen Rodgers; a sister-in-law, Lillian Fabrey, Sharpsville and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband; one son, John Antonino; three sisters, Elizabeth Cagigas, Catherine Mazza and Evelyn Kubisch; and three brothers, Hank, George and Joseph Fabrey.

Calling hours: 5 to 7 p.m. Monday (10-31-11) in the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 E. State Street, Sharon.

Services: Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday (11-1-11) at 11:30 a.m. in St. Stanislaus Kostka- Holy Trinity Church, Spruce Ave. Sharon. The family asks that everyone go directly to the church the morning of the funeral.

Interment: St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery, Hermitage.
