Rosanna Petrosky

Rosanna (Asafaylo) Petrosky, 96, of Mercer, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2026, in Clepper Manor, Sharon.

Mrs. Petrosky was born on October 1, 1929, in Sharon, a daughter of the late Michael and Rose Laura (Thorton) Asafaylo. She was a 1948 graduate of Sharon High School, and throughout the years was responsible for keeping the class obituary information.

She worked at the former A&P grocery store for about 10 years in Sharon and as the head cashier in the Hermitage Plaza from 1960 to 1963.

Her husband, Frank Petrosky, Jr., whom she married on June 19, 1954, passed away on June 12, 1999.

She is survived by a son, Terry Frank Petrosky and his wife, Cheryl, of Mercer; and a step-grandson, Michael F. Miller.

In addition to her parents and husband, Rosanna was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Asafaylo, Jr.
