Ronald E. Flickinger, Sr., 78, of West Middlesex, passed away Friday afternoon, January 3, 2025, in his home.

Mr. Flickinger was born June 25, 1946, in Sharon, a son of the late Chester and Norma (Willaman) Flickinger, and was a graduate of Hickory High School.

Ron retired as manager of the former Sharon Steel Corp. after over 40 years of work.

He had a passion for hunting and fishing, especially at his camp.

Ron is survived by three daughters, Melissa Bartholomew, Shelley Dorfi (John), and Janine Stephens (Mark); a son, Ronald Flickinger, II (Melissa); two brothers, Dennis Flickinger (Cathy), and Chuch Flickinger; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

In keeping with Ron's wishes there will be no calling hours or a service.
