Romona M. Eve, 90, of New Castle passed away Thursday morning, December 21, 2017, at The Grove in New Wilmington. Born on May 24, 1927, in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Emil H. and Elizabeth Walzer Krueger. She was a member of St. Mary's Church, Mary, Mother of Hope Parish.

Romona is survived by her husband William M. Eve, whom she married on September 27, 1947. Also surviving her are her two daughters, Shirley Angelo, New castle and Barbara Panella, Gotha, FL; one son, William A. Eve and his wife Laura, New Castle; a sister Eileen Shuler, New Wilmington; seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren children.

Romona was preceded in death by seven brothers; Carl,  Fred, Lee, Walburn, Herb, Donald and William Krueger; three sisters, Marie Kelley, Gertrude Smock and Irene McConnell; one great grandson, Michael Knorr and her son in law, John Panella.

A private Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Mary's Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 111 W. Falls St. New Castle, Pa.
