Rolando E. Lozano, Jr. of Sharpsville passed away unexpectedly of natural causes Tuesday morning, April 24, 2018, in his residence. He was 63.
Mr. Lozano was born January 25, 1955, in East Chicago, Indiana, a son of Rolando E. Lazano, Sr. and Evangelina (Apodaca). He was raised in East Chicago and attended Washington High School.
Rolando enlisted in the U.S. Navy and proudly served for four years.
Most recently, he worked as a custodial technician for Countryside Convalescent Home, Mercer.
Rolando was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Sharon.
He loved to cook, shop at local stores and garage sales and go for walks with his dog. Rolando had a talent for fixing things and would never hesitate to help a friend or neighbor.
Surviving are: his wife of nearly 37 years, the former Nancy Hooks, whom he married May 16, 1981; a son, Chris (Taylor) Lozano, Sharon, his mother, Evangelina Lozano; and sister, Lisa Lozano, both East Chicago, IN; and beloved grandson, Arlo Lozano.
Rolando was preceded in death by his father and brother, Wayne Lozano.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday (6-02-2018) in Christ Lutheran Church, Sharon.
