Rogers W. McIntire, Jr., 79, of Sharon, passed away Monday, February 28, 2022, in Quality Life Services, Mercer.

Mr. McIntire was born October 31, 1942, a son of the late Rogers and Eileen McIntire.

Rogers was a longtime employee for Ajax Trucking. Later in life, he worked at a gas and service station and an auto parts store.

He loved movies, especially ones about war, and nature. He was also a fan of Star Trek and Star Wars. In his free time, he played video games and admired model trains.

He is survived by two daughters, Carol (Robert) Sturdevant, Dade City, FL, and Melissa McIntire, Camp Hill, AL; two sons, Rogers (Brandy) McIntire, III, Greenfield, IN, and Clifford McIntire, Sharon; twelve grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
