Obituary
Roby L. Pettigrew of Hermitage passed away unexpectedly
Monday
evening (2-8-16) in his home.
He was 57.
Mr. Pettigrew was born July 28, 1958, in Sharon, a son of Alvin and Grace Robertson Pettigrew.
He was a 1976 graduate of West Middlesex High School.
Roby was employed at the front desk of Quality Inn, Hermitage, for the past ten years and worked in the same capacity for La Quinta Inns and Suites in La Porte, Texas for 25 years.
He attended the Hickory United Methodist Church, Hermitage, and was a former member of West Middlesex United Methodist Church.
Roby was very fond of animals and affiliated with Club Pet in Transfer.
Surviving are two sisters, Pam Tullos, Webster, TX; and Tina Airgood and her husband David, West Middlesex; a nephew, David Airgood, Jr. and his wife Sandy, Hermitage, and their daughter, Carly; two nieces, Amanda Cannyn and her husband Spencer, Webster, TX; and Deanna Airgood, West Middlesex; and an uncle, William Robertson, also West Middlesex.
Roby was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, John Tullos.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Club Pet, 20 Schaller Rd., Transfer, PA 16154.
There are no calling hours.
Memorial service will be held at a later date.
Interment: Haywood Cemetery, West Middlesex.
