Robert "Robbie" Walton, 57, of Sharon, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday evening, March 6, 2024, in his home.

Robbie was born on August 19, 1966, in Greensboro, NC, a son of Martin and Alma (Halloway) Walton, Jr. and graduated from Goochland County (VA) School.

He spent his career as a truck driver. Robbie was a very likable man who enjoyed cooking, walking, reading and spending time with his wife. He also had a deep love for his dogs, Toby and Cooper.

He is survived by his wife, the former Christina Ayres, whom he married on August 23, 2003; his parents, Gum Springs, VA; three daughters, Lauren Warlick, Chelsea Stanley (Daniel), and Sophia Warlick, all of Virginia; five grandchildren; and two brothers, Marty Walton III (Tonya), Hampton, VA, and William Walton, Sharon.

Robbie was preceded in death by a brother, Nelson Walton.

The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to Shenango Valley Animal Shelter, 2599 Broadway Rd., Hermitage, PA 16148.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday (03/12/2024) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 East State St., Sharon.
