Obituary

Robert B. "Bob" Stainbrook Jr. 56, Farrell, formerly of Sharpsville, passed away unexpectedly at  (1-30-16) Thursday morning at his residence following an extended illness. He was 56.

He was born April 4 th , 1959 in Sharon the son of Robert B. Stainbrook Sr. and Delores Davis Stainbrook.

He graduated from Sharpsville High School and attended Penn State University, University Park through t he Reserve Officers' Training Corps.

He served with the United States Navy and was stationed at The National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD, as part of the White House staff during the Carter administration; he also served aboard a US Naval aircraft carrier , The USS Midway.

Bob worked in various positions in both the dental and computer industry throughout his life.

A Free and Accepted Mason, he belonged to Lodge 517 Sharpsville.

Bob was a member and familiar face at the Sons of Italy Shenango Valley Lodge 875.

He enjoyed golfing, cooking, playing basketball, and over the years he had several pets who he loved dearly.

Bob was a Pittsburgh  Steeler and Penn State fan with an infectious smile, he  had a big heart and good soul and would help anyone out in their time of need.

His wife the former Anica Dragicevic whom he married May 25, 1986, survives at home.

He is also survived by his mother, Delores Stainbrook, Sharpsville, two sisters, Linda Cesnik and her husband Greg, Pittsburgh, and Nancy Rice and her husband Keith, Sharpsville.

Bob will be missed by his three brothers-in-law
John Dragicevic, Vuko Dragicevic,  and Dan Dragicevic and wife Nayla.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert B. Stainbrook Sr.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Humane Society of Mercer County PO Box 1046 Hermitage, PA 16148, or to the Thomas E. Starzl Transplantation Institute UPMC Montefiore, 7 South 3459 Fifth Ave. Pittsburgh, PA 15213

Calling hours: 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday ( 2-3-16 ) in the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. 1090 E. State St. Sharon, where a Masonic memorial service by his Lodge #517 will begin at 6:45 p.m..

Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday ( 2-4-16 ) in the funeral home chapel with Proto Milan Katanic, pastor of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church officiating.

Internment: St. John's Orthodox Cemetery, Hermitage
