Robert Joseph 'Bobby Joe' Rotz, 321 E. Connelly Blvd., Sharon, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday (10-12-11) in his home. He was 51.

Mr. Rotz was born April 10, 1960 in Sharon a son of the late Joseph Anthony and Eleanor 'Pee Wee' Negrea Rotz.

He was raised in Hermitage and was a 1979 graduate of Hickory High School.

Bobby Joe was quite a character. He was funny, sweet and a loyal companion to his wife and family. He enjoyed watching television, particularly western movies and WWE.

Surviving are: his wife at home, the former Teresa Marie 'Terry' Laskosh, whom he married September 3, 1983; a daughter, Julie Ann Rotz and her fiancé John Valenly, Sharon; a son, Joel Matthew Rotz, Sharon; a sister, Tammie Lynn Franken and her husband Bruce E., Hermitage; two granddaughters, Caitlyn Chavers and Lena Ann Rotz; two nieces, Jordyn Ashle Detwiler and Joelynn Eleanor Franken; and his mother-in-law, Theresa Laskosh.

Besides his parents, Bobby Joe was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Leo Laskosh. There are no calling hours.
