Mr. Quinn was born Oct. 15, 1918 in Sharon, a son of the late Edward and Alice Hanahan Quinn.
He was a 1937 graduate of Sharon High School and completed continuing education courses at Penn State University, Shenango Valley campus.
Bob retired as a supervisor in 1980 from the former Sharon Transformer Division of Westinghouse Electric Corp., where he was employed for 43 years. Following his retirement, he served as a consultant for Westinghouse in Pine Tops, N.C. for two years.
Bob's priorities in life were his church, family and community organizations. He was also a member of the Federation of Clubs, being honored as clubman of the year during the 1980s. Bob was a life member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 684, Sharon; and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels for more than 20 years.
He enjoyed tending to his rose and flower gardens at his home and spending time with his family, particularly his grandchildren and two great-granddaughters. He also looked forward to attending the weekly drawing at the Elks on Sunday morning with his son-in-law Mike; and dinner at his daughter's home later in the day with family and friends.
Bob will be remembered by many for his quick wit and sense of humor and will be dearly missed by all who loved him.
