Robert Prezioso, 73, of Farrell, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2025.

Bob was born on May 18, 1952, in Sharon, a son of the late Richard and Stella (Telega) Prezioso. A lifelong resident of Farrell, Bob graduated from Farrell High School in 1971. In Johnstown, PA, he received a diploma for completion of coursework in library science, which he put to use as a library assistant at the Sharon Community Library for many years.

Bob was gifted with a fantastic memory for things of interest to him (which did not include schoolwork). As a child, he could identify the make, model and year of any car that came by. When he was a little older, his interest turned to music of the 50's to 80's. He could name the performer, year, and duration of any pop-rock song and give a good accounting of any facts related to it. He especially enjoyed attending rock concerts of artist in their prime and even when they weren't.

Of equal interest were trains. It didn't matter if they were freight or passenger, steam or diesel, he knew so much about them all. His favorite vacations involved train travel on Amtrak, the Pacific Coast Starlight, and the Rocky Mountaineer, as well as the many excursion railroads across the country, his favorite being the Durango-Silverton and Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroads in Colorado.

A very gentle soul, Bob never had a bad word for anybody. He will be greatly missed by his sister, Janet.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Kathy.
