Robert J. "Bob" O'Neill, 83, of Sharon, passed away with his wife and family by his side Friday afternoon, February 7, 2025, in the Grove at Greenville.

Mr. O'Neill was born December 12, 1941, in Sharon, a son of the late Robert and Margaret (James) O'Neill. He was a 1959 graduate of Sharpsville High School and attended Penn State University, Shenango Valley Campus.

As a young man, Bob worked for National Castings, Sharon. He worked his way to becoming an industrial engineer and retired from McConway and Torley, Inc., where he supervised the Pittsburgh and Kutztown plants.

Bob enjoyed tending to his vegetable garden and rooting for his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers.

His wife of 61, Kathryn E. (Flynn) O'Neill, whom he married November 12, 1963, survives at home.

Bob is also survived by a son, Robert J. O'Neill (Pamela), Sharon; a daughter, Teri Hosa (Chris), S. Pymatuning Twp.; five grandchildren, Gabriel, Cameron, and Caroline O'Neill, and Christian and Michael Hosa; and a great-granddaughter, Cecelia.

In keeping with Bob's wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral service.
