Robert F. Lanshcak of 159 S. Kerrwood Dr. Hermitage, PA passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at 10:54 p.m. in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. He was 67.

Mr. Lanshcak was born in Grove City, PA on September 13, 1942, a son of the late Frank and Elizabeth Reidman Lanshcak.

He was a graduate of Sharpsville High School. Robert retired after 28 years as a Foreman from National Casting. He also held numerous jobs at Valley Mold and American Steel.

Mr. Lanshcak was a member of the Farrell Moose #55, Sharon VFW Post 1338, Farrell Sportsman's Club, and American Legion #299. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, ice fishing, and golf.

He is survived by his wife, Mary (Catalone) Lanshcak, whom he married, October 26, 1994; a daughter, Connie and her husband Matthew Pentz of Mineral Ridge, OH; 2 sons, Robert and his wife Ann Lanshcak of Grove City, PA, and Michael and his wife Elizabeth Lanshcak of Monaca, PA; 2 step sons, Robert and Richard Beck, both of St. Mary's, PA; 5 grandchildren, Ryan Pentz, Nicholas Lanshcak, Ella Lanshcak, Cross Rodgers, and Cole Lanshcak; 2 step grandchildren, Chelsea and Justin Beck; He is also survived by his former wife, Caroline Lanshcak of Sharon, PA; a nephew, Tom Atterholt

Besides his parents, Robert was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Atterholt.

Calling hours will be from 6 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, January 3, 2010 in the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 1090 E. State St. Sharon, PA 16146.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 4, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in St. Joseph's Church with Rev. Thomas Dugan. A procession will leave the funeral home at 12:40 p.m.

Interment will be in St. Rose Cemetery.
