Robert C. Henderson, 74, of Shenango Twp. passed away Monday, July 22, 2024, in UPMC Jameson Hospital.

Mr. Henderson was born July 30, 1949, in New Castle, a son of the late Charles R. and Helen (Stritzinger) Henderson, and was a 1968 graduate of the Lawrence County Career and Technical Center.

Robert proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1968 to 1970, and was stationed throughout different parts of the world, including: Jacksonville, FL, Nova Scotia, and Spain. After his time in the military, he started his career in commercial plumbing and was proud to be a member of the plumbers union.

On August 16, 1996, he married the former Sharon McLaren, whom passed away on September 29, 2009.

He is survived by a brother, Jim Henderson (Debbie), New Castle; and numerous nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents and wife, Robert was preceded in death by two children, Justin and Kara Henderson; and a sister, Eileen Crawford.

In keeping with Robert's wishes, there will be no services.
