Robert F. "Bob" Bross of Transfer, PA passed away Tuesday evening, May 1, 2018, in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Youngstown, OH. He was 49.

Bob was born July 11, 1968, in Sharon, PA, a son of Richard Joseph and Linda Louise (Stull) Bross and was a graduate of Reynolds High School. He was employed for many years as a counselor at Bellmont Pines Hospital, Youngstown, OH. Bob was previously employed at Sharon Regional Medical Center.

He was a member of St. Luke Episcopal Church, Niles, OH. Bob was a sports fan, in particular a fan of the Seattle Seahawks and the Pittsburgh Pirates. He enjoyed bowling and golf and participated in different leagues throughout the years.

He is survived by two brothers, Joseph E. Bross and his wife Christina, Warren, OH; and Stephen Bross, Alabama; his girlfriend, Jessica Beasley, Youngstown, OH; two nieces, Kayla and Lindsey Bross; two uncles, William Bross and his wife Maureen, Hubbard; and David Bross and his wife Marge, New Wilmington; three aunts, Eleanor Bross, Hubbard; Karen Balawinder and her husband Frank, Sharon; and Clare Davis and her husband Donald, Sharpsville; and several cousins.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; and two uncles, John and Daniel Bross.

The family suggest memorial contributions be made to St. Luke Episcopal Church, 348 Robbins Ave., Niles, OH 44446 .

Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday ( 05/08/ 2018 ) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 East State St., Sharon; and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Wednesday ( 05/09/2018 ).

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday , in the funeral home with Rev. Donald Hall, pastor of St. Luke Episcopal Church, officiating.

Burial: Oakwood Cemetery, Hermitage.
