IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Richard G.
Zurasky
February 11, 1943 – May 16, 2019
Mr. Zurasky was born February 11, 1943, in New Castle, PA, a son of the late Julius and Agnes (Donley) Zurasky. He was a 1962 graduate of Shenango High School, New Castle.
A lifelong farmer, Richard also ran a gas station at the corner of Washington and Butler Ave, New Castle; worked at Watson's Inc., Hermitage and most recently at Insta-Gro Manufacturing, Inc., Caledonia, OH.
A true green thumb, he was intrigued by plant development and was sure to inspect and let his friends and family know what would help their plants grow more efficient.
He is survived by five sisters, Frances Sherry, of Farrell, Patricia Diana and her husband Richard, of Louisville, KY, Rebecca Frank, Rose Marie Dehass, and Roberta Wellman and her husband Dave, all of New Castle; two brothers, Russell J. Zurasky, of Pulaski, and James L. Zurasky and his wife Patricia, of Madison, AL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by four sisters, Elsie Dean, Martha Reppart, Anna Cooley and Shirley Reno; and four brothers, Harry and Paul Zurasky, and Arthur and Michael Powell.
The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to the Future Farmers of America, at www.FFA.org .
