Obituary
Richard C. Reel of Farrell, PA, passed away at 6:45 AM Wednesday at his residence. He was 63.
Mr. Reel was born in Long Beach, CA on October 29, 1945, a son of Lester Charles Reel and Eloise Darrouch Beorgeois.
Richard served in the United States Army and was stationed in France.
He graduated from Richard Stockton University in New Jersey with a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice.
Richard worked in law enforcement all of his life. He retired from the Washington State Corrections Department.
Mr. Reel was a member of the American Legion in New Jersey. He enjoyed woodcarving and playing guitar.
Survivors include: His wife, Pennylynn Schick Reel, whom he married February 22, 1968; His mother Eloise Beorgeois of Lagoona Woods, CA; 2 daughters, Robin and her husband Randy Rickman of Farrell, PA and Wendy and her husband Gary Slack of Oxnard, CA; a grandchild, Rowyn Elizabeth Slack; a grandchild on the way Baby Rickman.
He was preceded in death by: his father.
