Richard E. Parrish, 62, of Hadley, PA passed away unexpectedly of natural causes Monday afternoon, April 8, 2024, in St. Joseph Hospital, Warren, OH.

Mr. Parrish was born February 20, 1962, in Champagne, IL, a son of Milton and Muriel (Rattray) Parrish. Following his graduation from Hickory High School in Hermitage, he completed the HVAC training program at ITT Tech.

Rick worked as box truck driver for Sharpsville Container.

An avid fan of Sci-Fi, he enjoyed building models of all kinds, especially spaceships and planes. Rick always had an admiration for classic muscle cars and loved riding his motorcycle.

Rick is survived by his fiance, Jodi Myers, with whom he made his home in Hadley, PA; a son, Jason Parrish, Sharpsville; a daughter, Haley Parrish, Hadley, PA; his father, Milton Parrish, Sharpsville; three step-children, Nakita Griffin, Marty Simpson, and Gary Simpson, Jr. (Kezia Allen);  three brothers, Terry Parrish (Fran), Sharon, David Parrish (Daffney), Hermitage, and Gordon Parrish, Mercer; a sister, Pam Blakely, Fredonia, PA; and four step-grandchildren, Devin Simpson, Caden Simpson, Dominic Griffin, and Maddie Myers.

Rick was preceded in death by his mother, Muriel; his wife, Victoria (DeSantis) Parrish; and a brother, Allen Parrish.
