Richard "Rich" Cirillo, 70, of Mercer, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2025, in UPMC Jameson Hospital, New Castle.
Mr. Cirillo was born on February 22, 1955, in Grove City, PA, a son of the late Paul and Rose (Pry) Cirillo. He was a 1973 graduate of Grove City High School and earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Grove City College in 1977.
He was employed at SATEC Systems in Grove City from 1976 to 1999, where he was the Vice President of Sales. Later, he worked at Interstate Chemical, Hermitage, retiring as Vice President of Marketing in 2020.
Rich was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Mercer.
An avid outdoorsman, he found pleasure in four-wheeling, hunting and cutting firewood. He looked forward to sitting around the campfire at his camp with his wife in Emlenton and sharing his passion for hunting and archery with friends at "Herndon's Cabin."
He will be remembered as a people person, with a natural ability to strike up a conversation with anyone, and quickly know their life story. He also loved movies and reading, especially by the fire.
He is survived by his wife, the former Kathleen Magargee, whom he married on April 8, 1978; three daughters, Carrie Carroll and her husband, Clifford, of Greenville, Jennifer Goodby and her husband, John, of Downingtown, PA, and Laura Clouser and her husband, Todd, Cranberry Twp., PA; seven grandchildren, Thomas, Anna, Kathleen, Elizabeth, Luciana, Andrew and Logan; five brothers, Joseph Cirillo, of Sharon, William Cirillo (Margaret), of Fort Mill, SC, Thomas Cirillo (Lori), of Hermitage, David Cirillo (Laura), of Champion, OH, and Ronald Cirillo (Melanie), of Orlando, FL.
