Rhonda Crash Canady, Timber Lane, Hermitage, formerly of Greenville, passed away at 9:36 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 22, 2015, in Canterbury Place Hospice, Pittsburgh, following a six-year illness with renal cancer. She was 61. Mrs. Canady was born April 26, 1953, in Greenville, a daughter of Ronald E. and Nancy Beil Crash. She was a 1971 graduate of Greenville High School and attended St. Francis University, Loretto, Pa. In recent years, Rhonda worked as a certified professional medical coder and also as director of admissions at White Cliff Health and Rehabilitation Center, Hempfield Township. Previously, she worked for various oral/maxillofacial surgeons as an office manager for more than 20 years. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Sharon, and a former member of St. Michael's Church, Greenville. Rhonda belonged to Avalon at Buhl Country Club and enjoyed golfing with her many girlfriends at various courses throughout the Shenango and Mahoning valleys. She enjoyed cooking and was part of a group of women who prepared meals for the priests at her church. Early in her life, she was an avid water skier and spent many days skiing on Conneaut Lake. Mrs. Canady is survived by: her husband, Robert Carl Canady, whom she married Jan. 13, 1979; a son, Reid C. Canady, Lake Milton, Ohio; her mother, Nancy Crash, Greenville; a sister, Caren Renz and her husband Thomas, Hermitage; a niece, Mackenzie Renz, Cincinnati; an aunt, Nancy Crash, Greenville; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald E. Crash.
