Rebecca Jane Polonus, 64, of Sharon passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 2, 2018.
She was born March 20, 1954, in Matewan, West Virginia, a daughter of Golden Earl and Silvestie (Hurley) Smith. Rebecca was a beautiful soul, an artist, a writer and a gardener. She was a strong courageous woman who enjoyed life and left a lasting impact on all of the lives she touched.
Rebecca is survived by her loving husband of twenty-four years, David Polonus; six children, Joseph, Lori, William, George, Jessica and Vincent. She sincerely loved and adored her 23 grandchildren, as well as her sons and daughters-in-law.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Salvation Army, 660 Fisher Hill St., Sharon, PA 16146.
Calling hours will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday, August 6, 2018, in the Salvation Army, Sharon.
Memorial service for this wonderful woman will be at 11 a.m. Monday, in the Salvation Army, with Captain David Childs, officiating.
