Raymond Allen Kloss, Cohassett Drive, Hermitage, passed away unexpectedly at 7:15 p.m., Monday, March 9, 2015, in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System. He was 58. Raymond was born March 29, 1956, in Sharon, a son of Charles Howard and Susan A. Haun Kloss. A lifelong area resident, he graduated from Sharon High School in 1974. Ray worked in the steel industry for several years at Phillips Steel, Hermitage; Olsher Metals, Brookfield; and Reynolds Services Inc., Greenville. He later worked at Hermitage Giant Eagle and for Penn Folk Antique Reproductions in Mercer. He loved rooting for his Cleveland Browns and Penn State Nittany Lions. At Christmas time, he was one of Santa's helpers and was featured one year in the Hermitage Light Up Night parade. A loving husband and father, Ray always put his wife and son first, and he was always humble. A gifted woodworker, he made beautiful cabinet furniture as a hobby. He leaves his wife, the former Bonnie J. Bulick, his one and only love, whom he married Feb. 12, 1977. He also leaves his son, Nicholas A. Kloss, of Struthers, Ohio. Ray was preceded in death by: his parents; two sisters, Margaret Zachrich and Susan Darlene Egelsky; and his brother, Charles H. Kloss Jr. Calling hours: 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday (3-13-15) in J.
