A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday for Rae Frances Bonasera of Sharon. She passed away unexpectedly at 12:50 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System. She was 76. Mrs. Bonasera was born Oct. 19, 1936, in Greenville, a daughter of Angelo and Helen Randall Augustine. She was a graduate of the former St. Michael's High School, Greenville , and received an associate's degree from the Shenango campus of Penn State University, Sharon. Rae was an active member of Church of the Sacred Heart, Sharon, where she spent many hours volunteering. She was honored Oct. 28, 2012, for her many years of service to the church. Throughout the years, Rae was employed in many capacities. She and her husband, Charles, owned and operated the former Bonasera Music Center in Warren, Ohio, from 1977 to 1982. She was employed as an office worker for Dr. Marie Gross in Hermitage and was a Mary Kay Cosmetics representative for many years. She also worked for B & B Paving and Sealing, Sharon, and drove school bus for the former Garrett's Garage in Hermitage for more than 10 years. She was last employed by Nittany Coatings in Reynolds Industrial Park. Years earlier, Rae received her manicure license from the former Cheena's School of Beauty in Sharpsville and also worked at American Hair in Sharon. An accomplished seamstress, she made a quilt for all of her daughters as well as her grandchildren, which they received upon graduation from high school. Rae was very energetic and had many hobbies. She was a member of the Tamie Swingers Golf League at Tam O'Shanter Golf Course and the VFW Ladies Golf League at Hickory VFW Golf Course, both Hermitage. She was an avid bowler and belonged to the Hickory Wonders bowling league at Sunset Lanes, Farrell. She enjoyed playing bridge with the Hickory Women's Bridge Club and belonged to the Sons of Italy in Sharon. Surviving are: five loving daughters, Jeanne Endicott and her husband Alan, Greenville; Holly Baldarelli and her husband Alan, Hermitage; Peggy Murphy, Boston; Sherry Testa, Pittsburgh; and Pamela Osborne and her husband Alan, Hermitage; 15 grandchildren, Alayna Endicott Richard and her husband John; Shaun Endicott, Lauren Endicott, Rachel Endicott, Alan Joseph "AJ" Baldarelli, Jenna Baldarelli, Matthew Baldarelli, Rita Baldarelli, Patrick Murphy and his wife Lauren; Thomas Murphy and his wife Jackie; and Meghan Murphy, Joshua Testa, Brenden Osborne, Ryan Osborne and Abigail Osborne; two great-grandchildren, Isaiah and Annika Richard; two sisters, Peg Casey and her husband Richard, Hubbard; and June Ricciardi and her husband Ralph, Masury; a brother, Michael Augustine and his wife Louise; and a sisterin- law, Carol Augustine, all also Masury. Rae was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Susan Sulick; a brother, John Augustine; and her former husband, Charles Bonasera.
