Obituary
R. Gene Trunzo of Moon Twp. PA, passed away of natural causes at 11:33 AM Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at his residence. He was 49.
Mr. Trunzo was born in Sharon, PA on October 1, 1959, a son of Rosario and Patricia Scalese Trunzo of Sharpsville, PA.
Gene graduated from Sharpsville High School in 1977. He went on to receive his Bachelors degree in Hotel Management from Edinboro University.
Gene enjoyed, painting, woodworking, and gardening, also spending time at the beach. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with is niece and nephews.
Survivors include: his parents; 2 brothers, Joseph Trunzo of Erie, PA and Patrick and his wife Patricia Trunzo and their four children of Peters Twp., PA; a sister, Jessica and her husband Ted Brzezinski and their son of Sterling Heights, Michigan.
He was preceded in death by: a sister, Frances Trunzo.
Calling hours will be from 8 to 9:30 a.m. on Friday, February 13, 2009 at the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 1090 E. State St. Sharon, PA 16146.
A precession will leave at 9:30 a.m. for the church.
A mass of Christian burial will be at 10:00 a.m. at St. Bartholomew's Church in Sharpsville, Rev. Matthew J. Kujawinski pastor as celebrant.
Internment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery.
