Quentin "Sparky" R. Brady, Jr. of Hermitage passed away at 6:14 p.m. Saturday, April 15, 2017, in Good Samaritan Hospice House, Wexford, PA. He was 63.

Mr. Brady was born July 4, 1953, in Sharon, a son of Quentin Brady Sr. and Betty (Gills) Brady. He was a 1971 graduate of Sharon High School and a lifelong area resident. He was employed in the finishing department of Wheatland Tube for many years, retiring in July of 2016.

Family always came first to Sparky. He enjoyed family gatherings, spending time with his daughters and grandchildren, and coaching his daughter's softball teams. He was a Cleveland Indians and Browns fan and an animal lover, especially his dogs.

Surviving are: his wife, the former Mary Patricia "Patty" Ebert, whom he married on May 17, 1976; two daughters, Sarah Brady, Niles, OH; and Laura Pierson and her husband Brandon, Hubbard, OH; two grandchildren, Molly and Nolan Pierson; and a sister, Carole Smolkin and her husband Chuck, Lutherville, MD. He will also be sadly missed by his mother in law, Mary Ellen Ebert, Hermitage; two brother in laws, Mark Ebert and his wife Debbie, Pacific Palisades, CA; and Terry Ebert and his wife Margaret, Howland, OH; and his nieces and nephews, Scott and Ryan Beveridge, Adriane Stottlemyer, Katie, Lizzie and Becca Ebert, and Matt and Dan Ebert.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be made to Make A Wish Foundation, Gift Processing Center, Box 749596, Los Angeles, CA 90074.

Calling hours will be noon until the time of the service Friday, April 21, 2017 , in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 1090 East State St., Sharon.

Funeral Service will be 1:30 p.m. Friday , in the funeral home.
