Peter Schibli, 87, of Hermitage, passed away peacefully Monday, June 25, 2018, in UPMC Horizon, Farrell.

Mr. Schibli was born February 1, 1931, in Yugoslavia, a son of Josef and Theresa (Geiser) Schibli. He immigrated to the United States in 1952 and retired from Sharon Steel's former Farrell plant after 38 years of employment.

Peter is survived by his wife of 62 years, the former Anna Braunstein; a son, Frank Schibli and his wife Pamela, New Lenox, IL; and a daughter, Diana Kase and her husband Jeff, Hermitage. He enjoyed playing with his grandchildren, Joshua Kase; and Erin and Kate Schibli.

Peter was preceded in death by his parents; a son, John Schibli; and two brothers, John and Joseph Schibli.

Calling hours will be 4 to 7p.m. Wednesday (06/27/2018) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 East State St., Sharon.

Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday (06/28/2018) in St. Anthony's Church, 804 Idaho St. Sharon, with Rev. Matthew Ruyechan, pastor, as celebrant.

Interment: Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Hermitage.
