Obituary

Peter Mirizio, 2754 E. State St. Hermitage, passed away unexpectedly at 7:22 p.m. Saturday (5-15-10) at his home. He was 46.

He was the son of Peter J. and Frances Perry Mirizio. Peter was born on May 26, 1963 in Toronto, Canada.

He was a member of Kennedy Christian High Schools graduating class of 1981 and played saxophone in the Golden Eagle marching band. While in high school, he attended Mercer County Area Vocational-Technical School, Coolspring Township where he studied auto repair.

Peter graduated from DeVry University, Columbus Ohio where he earned his Associates degree.

He worked as a Bio Medical Technician and owned and operated his own business, A M Bio Medical.

Peter was good with several different trades and worked in several capacities for local businesses including Hoovler Volkswagen Repair & Import Car Parts, Greenville, and the former Mulligan Construction Company.

He is survived by his mother Frances Mirizio, Hermitage, his daughter, Candy Pratt and her husband E.J. of Sharpsville, a brother, Thomas M. Mirizio, Hermitage. Peter was preceded in death by his father, and two sisters, Cynthia and Mary Ann Mirizio.

Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Church of Notre Dame, 2325 Highland Road, Hermitage, Pa.

Calling hours: 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday (5-18-10) in the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. 1090 E. State St. Sharon.

Services: Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday (5-19-10) In the Church of Notre Dame with Rev. Jeffery J. Noble, pastor as celebrant.

Interment: St. Rose Cemetery, Hermitage.
