Obituary

Perry R. Templeton, 223 Dougherty Ave, Sharon, passed away unexpectedly Monday (11-30-09) at 6:40 a.m. at his residence following a brief illness. He was 43.

He was born on February 27, 1966 the son of Warren R. 'Perry' and Mary Valentino Templeton.

Perry attended Hickory elementary schools and graduated from Sharpsville High School in 1984. He also attended Eastern Arizona College, Thatcher, Arizona, where he played football for the Eastern Arizona Gila Monsters.

He was employed at one time by the United States Department of Defense which gave him the training to start his own business, Templeton Security and Investigation Services. He also was the owner and operator of Templeton Supply Company and had worked at one time for the former Medal Distributing, Sharon. Currently, he was the Vice President of Operations for Keystone Blind Association, Sharon.

He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Farrell.

He was a Board Director for the YMCA, Hermitage, Shenango Valley Chamber of Commerce, and for the Keystone Blind Association, both Sharon. He was a member of Free and Accepted Masons Shenango Vally Lodge 810, Hermitage.

Perry was full of life and he enjoyed hunting, golfing, rooting for his Pittsburgh Steelers, and recently driving his new Hummer. He was a great friend to many and he always enjoyed spending time with the 'Apostles' enjoying a good cigar, homebrew, and friendly conversation, he will be sadly missed by all.

His wife the former Tresa Tizio whom he married on May 26, 1990, survives at home.

He also leaves two sisters, Tracy Templeton and her companion Eugene Green, Farrell, Diana Kehoe and her husband David, Sharpsville, a brother, Robert 'Rob' States and his wife Dana, Hermitage, his nieces and nephews, Eugene, Trey, Jaylie, and Gemma Green; Nick Kehoe and his wife Nicole (stationed in Elmendorf Air Force Base), and Lindsay Kehoe; Bobby States and his wife Abby and their twin boys Parker and Carson; Danielle and Megan States. He also leaves his very close in laws, his father and mother in law, John and Betty Tizio, his sister in law Cyn Reichenbacher and her husband Adolf, his brother in law, Phil Tizio and his wife Gina and their children Alisa, Philip, and Geno, and a cousin that was like a brother, Reid Bennett. He was the Godfather of AJ and Maddison Hammond, and Geno Tizio. Perry was survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins too many to list, but he loved them all.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that all memorial contributions be made in his memory to the Keystone Blind Association 1230 Stambaugh Ave., Sharon, PA 16146.

Calling hours: 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday (12-3-09) and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Friday in the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory Inc 1090 E. State St. Sharon. Masonic lodge service at 8:00 p.m. by Free and Accepted Masons Shenango Valley Lodge 810, Hermitage.

Services: Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Friday (12-4-09) in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Larry Haynes, Pastor of Grace Chapel Community Church, Rev. Donald E. Berdis, pastor of Our Lady of Fatima Church and co officiating.
