Mrs. Gorence was born December 14, 1917 in Girard, Ohio, a daughter of the late James and Beatrice Peretta Sherock.
She attended Girard schools and later was a bookkeeper at the Trumbull County Courthouse, Warren, Ohio.
Perrine moved to the Shenango Valley following her marriage to Don Morocco in 1939.
She later attended the former Wil-Mar Beauty Academy in Sharon and became a licensed hairdresser. After working out of her home for a period of time, Perrine owned and operated The Classique in Sharon from 1960 to 1968; the Solon De Parie, also Sharon, from 1968 to 1976; and Perrine's Hair Salon, Hermitage, from 1976 to 1994. Following her career as a beautician, she was a greeter at The Winner in downtown Sharon from 1995 to 2006. Perrine was a loving and caring lady who was always there for her family and friends. She loved to cook and bake; however, her greatest joy was the time she shared with her family. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima-St. Ann Church, Farrell.
Besides her parents, Perrine was preceded in death by her former husband, Don Morocco and her second husband, Al Gorence; a daughter, Olivia Ann Morocco; four sisters, Antoinette Martuccio, Lucille Varga, Carmella Sherock and Frances Villio; three brothers, Anthony Sherock; and Anthony and James Restuccio; and her step-father, Sam Restuccio.
Surviving are: a daughter, Faith and her husband Kenneth Gianoglio, Hermitage; a son, Russell Morocco, West Middlesex; four grandsons, John Davis and his wife Amy, Dublin, Ohio; Russell Davis, Austintown, Ohio; Russell D. Morocco, West Middlesex; and Vincent Morocco, Farrell; a granddaughter, Nina Morocco, Michigan, formerly of West Middlesex; and two great grandchildren, Livia Alexa Davis and Logan John Davis, both Dublin, Ohio. She also leaves a sister, Josephine Restuccio, Youngstown, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Mildred Restuccio, Girard, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
