Obituary

Margaret 'Peggy' Kacerski, Indiana Ave., Farrell, passed away peacefully of natural causes at 3:51 p.m. Tuesday (6-5-12) in John XXIII Home for senior citizens following an extended illness. She was 80.

She was born in Sharon, Pa., the daughter of William Herbert Bowman Sr. and Marguerite Lawler Bowman.

A homemaker, she worked in her early years at the former G. C. Murphy's, Sharon and more recently she was employed at Charlene and Company Beauty Salon, Hermitage.

A lifelong area resident, she graduated from Farrell High School in 1949. She was a member of St. Adalberts Church, Farrell.

She loved to read and enjoyed watching sports but was happiest when spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Her husband Stephen A. 'Chinky' Kacerski whom she married on June 18th 1949, passed away on February 28, 2010.

She is survived by her daughter Stephanie Donnarummo and her husband Larry, Hermitage, her son Gary S. Kacerski, Tampa, Florida, a sister Frances Petrovich and her husband Francis 'Sonny', Drums, Pa., and two brothers, William H. Bowman Jr. and his wife Grace, Reading, Pa, and Richard L. Bowman and his wife Debbie, Titusville, Fl. She will be sadly missed by her four grandchildren, Jeremy A. Kacerski, Salvatore R., Tina Maria, and Steven L. Donnarummo, and a great grandchild, Jamariz A. Kacerski.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Florence Welsh.

Services: A private funeral service will be held on Saturday (5-9-12) in the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. 1090 E. State St. Sharon.

Internment: Holy Cross Cemetery, Hermitage
