Paul Voytko

Paul J. Voytko, 72, of Hermitage, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2026, in Sharon Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Voytko was born on November 21, 1953, in Sharon, a son of the late John Paul and Matilda Jean (Suita) Voytko. A lifelong area resident, he was a 1971 graduate of Sharon High School.

Paul worked for more than 30 years and retired from Sharon Tube. Following his retirement, he worked many odd jobs, including working as a crossing guard for the Sharon School District and cleaning for many local businesses.

Paul was an active member of St. Joseph’s Church, Sharon.

An avid sports fan, he enjoyed watching and listening to sports, watching ESPN, and going golfing.

He is survived by his wife, the former Linda Burgess, whom he married on July 9, 1983; and two brothers-in-law, Ron Burgess and his wife, Catharina, of Fernandina Beach, FL, and Jeff Burgess and his wife, Chris, of New Castle.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Amanda Lee Voytko, who passed away at 14 months old. Paul was a deeply loving and caring father. He was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Gary Burgess.

The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to St. Joseph’s Church, 79 Case Ave., Sharon, PA 16146.

A celebration of Paul’s life will be held at a later date.
