Paul E. DeLong, II, 49, of Kinsman, OH, passed away at 6:34 p.m. on Tuesday evening, January 14, 2025, following an extended illness.

Paul was born February 14, 1975, in Sharon, a son of Paul E. DeLong, Sr. and Mary Grace (Dias) DeLong. After graduating from Sharon High School in 1994, he completed an eight-year fellowship with Steamfitters Local 47, Pittsburgh, PA, becoming a journeyman welder.

Paul's work as a welder took him throughout Western Pennsylvania, and most recently, to the Schell Cracker Plant in Monaca, PA, where he worked as a master welder.

He was a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers Fan who also enjoyed spending as much time as possible outdoors hunting, fishing, jet skiing, boating, and riding ATVs. He always looked forward to spending time with family at their camp in Kennerdell, PA.

Paul is survived by his mother, Mary DeLong, of Kinsman, OH; three brothers, Jason DeLong, Sharon, and Shaun DeLong and Cory DeLong, both of Kinsman, OH; three nephews, Jayden, Dylon, and Cambren; and two nieces, Ava and Cora.

Paul was preceded in death by his father, Paul E. DeLong; paternal grandparents, James and Betty DeLong; and his maternal grandmother, Nancy Tucker (Roy).

Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday (1-24-25) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 E. State St., Sharon.

A funeral service will immediately follow at 5 p.m. Friday, in the funeral home, with James Reardon, officiating.
