Paul R. Bacon, 67, of Sharon passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, in UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA, following a brief illness.

Mr. Bacon was born March 25, 1957, in Sharon, a son of Paul L. and Rosemary (Taylor) Bacon, and was a 1976 graduate of Hickory High School, Hermitage.

For the last 21 years, Paul worked for Wheatland Tube.

An avid Green Bay Packers fan, he also enjoyed listening to music and celebrating St. Patrick's Day. Above all, Paul loved spending time with his family and friends.

His wife of 17 years, Diane Bacon, whom he married June 22, 2006, survives at their home in Sharon.

Paul is also survived by four daughters, Tiffany Buxton, Katie Bacon, Alexis Bacon, and Lalynn Bacon; a son, Tyler Bacon; four grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Porterfield (George) and Judy Jones (Albert); a brother, Jim Bacon (Jovan); and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Querio.
