Paul M. Ayersman, 49, of New Castle passed away unexpectedly at his residence Tuesday morning, Jan. 12, 2016.

Paul was born in New Castle on Aug. 25, 1966, to Paul E. and Sylvia L. Kennedy Ayersman.

He was employed by Almega Plastics Inc. as a machine operator.

Paul enjoyed spending time with his sons and grandson, and going fishing.

He is survived by his mother, Sylvia, and stepfather, Don Leishman, of New Castle; two sons, Michael P. Ayersman and Brian E. Ayersman, both of New Castle; four sisters, Caprice Wiley, Kitty Jo Ayersman and her fiance, Rick Edwards, Lori Ayersman, and Tina Shay and her husband, Gary, all of New Castle; and his grandson, Landon Ayersman.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul E. Ayersman.

Calling hours will be held 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 111 W. Falls St. A funeral service will be conducted immediately following visitation at 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home with the Rev. Dennis Bupp officiating.
